Fly Fishing and Rafting Combo
How does a morning spent in the rush of the stream with a trout on your line and a great homemade riverside lunch followed by a beautiful float or thrilling whitewater adventure sound to you? Well, we have teamed up with Far Flung Adventures on this fantastic full-day excursion to make it all possible!
If you have never fly fished, a 1/2 day is a great way to start! Our main emphasis is on having you catch fish, but if you are serious about learning please don’t hesitate to let your guide know that you would like as much schooling as possible. The fishing portions of this fantastic full day outing will take place either in the lower gorge area of the Rio Grande or in the beautiful canyon of the Rio Pueblo. Our afternoon rafting adventure will take you either through the thrilling racecourse class II-III whitewater run or the relaxing and beautiful scenic float section of Orilla Verde Park.
Your morning will begin at 8:00 am at the Pilar Yacht Club where you will then head out for a morning of fishing. After a tasty deli-style lunch, you will meet your rafting guides at the Pilar Yacht Club at 12:15 and gear up for your rafting trip.
